Any Linux server with 4 GB RAM, 2 CPU cores and 20 GB of disk space will run Taskly comfortably for 200 users. We support Ubuntu, Debian and RHEL out of the box. Most customers run it on a basic AWS, DigitalOcean or Hetzner instance for under ₹2,000 a month.
No feature gating, ever — both plans get the same product. Cloud is per-user-per-month, so you pay for what you use. Self-hosted is unlimited users for the one-time price.
Monthly billing in INR, via credit card or UPI. You're charged based on active users on the first of each month. Add or remove people whenever — adjustments are prorated. GST invoices are auto-generated.
Cloud: data is encrypted at rest and in transit, hosted on AWS Mumbai. Daily off-site backups, retained for 30 days. Self-hosted: security is what your server's security is — Taskly itself uses bcrypt for passwords and HTTPS-only sessions, with role-based access controls built in.
You can rename projects, issue types and report fields to match your terminology. We deliberately don't ship a workflow builder — that's the road to Jira. If you need something specific, talk to us. We've built small custom additions for self-hosted customers before.
